| The plan is to park up in Italy at 32T6621 51958, then walk up to the saddle of the border with Austria, here we can enjoy a cross border lunch, take in the view , then walk back to the car. This hike is mostly on good tracks but the final part upto the saddle is a bit lesser quality (marked on map as clear path with signage). Approximately 400-500m of altitude gain over the approximate 8km walk. On an Lbw scale of Johan to full Murble, this comes in at around a Mike... Please wear sensible footwear, and bring water, sun cream, lunch, waterproof jacket, warm jacket, and a sense of adventure. In order for this hike to go ahead we need enough cars to transport those who want to go. Please can you add a comment (or reply on list if you are able to offer a car). In order to allow as much time before it gets too hot, it would be good if we can leave the hall at 0900 sharp. | |||||
