Laxey to Snaefell on foot (might wimp out on the way back)

From here: http://www.carfreewalks.org/walks/1179/laxey_beach_to_snaefell_summit A bracing 6.5 mile walk up to the highest summit on the island and, if the long-range weather forecast can be believed, the possibility of actually being able to see something! Forecast: http://www.mountain-forecast.com/peaks/Snaefell/forecasts/620 There is a cafe at the summit, or bring a packed lunch if you prefer. Descent can either be on foot for the insane, or via the mountain railway. Departure from the back door of the hall, 0900 sharp.
